Now that most of the site changes have been accomplished I need to get you all excited about the new Newsletter. From the request I have had about letting you know when I have posted an article to the “I don’t use RSS”, I figured it’s time to add a new feature to Cooking-Outdoors. So the Cooking-Outdoors Newsletter is born.

You can see the sign-up to the top left of the home page. Very simple, just enter your name and email address, no more no less. You will be asked to confirm and your done.

Two major points, your info stays with Cooking-Outdoors.com. You will only receive emails from me and my web sites and you can un-subscribe at any time.

New logo!!!

I would like to formally introduce you to the new Cooking-Outdoors logo. I had this crazy idea of a caveman family trying to get dad to cook dinner for them. You know, the ancient primal ritual of only a man can barbecue! Well my guy is kinda scared because he built the fire to big and the wife and kids are hungry now so they start pushing him to cook dinner ……. take it where you will and enjoy the thought.

I was extremely fortunate to find a cartoon artist who could take my idea and run with it. Dave May of Custom Cartoon Art was able make this happen. I couldn’t be happier with the final design he came up with. Dave is a fantastic artist to work with, he was able to handle my many changes and ideas to come up with a version that inspired me, all of this will holding down a full time job. Thanks Dave!!
