Gary, I’m looking into buying another grill (charcoal), and I’m looking for you opinion. I’m looking at getting either:
1. Weber One Touch Gold 22 1/2″
2. Weber Performer Gold
3. Weber Platinum One Touch??, with the side table on each side. It doesn’t appear on Weber’s web site but is available on amazon.

I believe the Platinum, and performer both come with the charcoal baskets.

This would be my first charcoal grill.

Saw your videos on Dutch Oven Chicken Picatta and made the bread this past weekend. It was my first attempt at dutch oven cooking since I bombed making biscuits years ago at one of my Boy Scout Troop campouts. The bread turned out fantastic but since I would like to make it again to show my Scouts, what can I use besides the beer? I assume water would work and just enough to get the same consistency? Besides flavor does the beer offer anything else in the baking process? No alcohol at Scout events..
