Fire Pits

Why Purchase a Fire Pit

Though there may have been much advancement in this world today, fire pits have always been a very reliable and popular tool when it comes to outdoor cooking.

Fire pits come in different variants. Some can be a simple pit dug into the ground or it may even be a combination of brick, stone and metal. The main feature of a fire pit is that they contain fire and stop it from spreading.

Types of Fire Pits

a) Cast Iron Fire Pits – this outdoor fire pit is made out of cast iron and is typically used by many people. However, it will definitely require you to eventually replace your cast iron fire pit since it has a low melting point compared to a copper fire pit.

b) Copper Fire Pit – this type of fire pit is more expensive compared to a cast iron fire pit. This is considered as the best option since it has a high melting point.

c) Gas Powered Fire Pit – the gas powered fire pit is convenient for people who live in areas where wood burning is prohibited. They do not require you to clean as much compared to a wood burning fire pit. You have to directly connect a propane tank in order to make it work.

d) Chiminea – this type of fire pit is very useful in smaller areas because of its narrow and tall structure. It has a small chimney on top that serves as a vent for smoke. Some chimineas are made out of cast iron or copper and some made out of terra cotta.

e) Portable Fire Pit – as its name speaks for itself, it is very convenient to carry during camping or in the beach. Its bowl shaped structure, complete with legs and a lid, keeps the coals from falling or spilling when you need to move your fire pit from one place to another.

As such, we have gathered some very nice  fire pits that will surely fit your needs.
