Homemade Cinnamon Butter Pecan Ice Cream Recipe

Here is a treat for my fellow cinnamon fans!

This Cinnamon Butter Pecan Ice Cream is extremely rich with butterfat content, crunchy Pecans and as much cinnamon as your heart desires.

I made this recipe using my Aroma Old Fashioned Ice Cream Maker in a little over 60 minutes.

No custard to prepare, just mix, chill, churn and freeze for delicious Ice Cream!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups light cream
  • 1¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cups pecans, toasted and chopped
Instructions
  1. Combine the light cream, brown sugar, and butter in a medium sauce pan.
  2. Cook while stirring constantly over low heat until bubbles form around the edges of the pan.
  3. Let the mixture cool and put in the ice cream machine.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, vanilla and cinnamon.
  5. Freeze according to your ice cream machines directions.
  6. Add toasted pecans after ice cream begins to harden.
  7. Freeze till solid or eat as a soft serve.

Note: Leave the cinnamon out and you will have a delicious homemade vanilla pecan ice cream!
