Sometimes just chopping things up isn’t the way to go. We show you the 5 basic Cube Cuts – Large Dice, Medium Dice, Small Dice, Brunoise and the Fine Brunoise.

So hone those Knife Skills and give these cuts a try!

Large Dice – 3/4” x 3/4” x 3/4”
Medium Dice – 1/2” x 1/2” x1/2”
Small Dice – 1/4” x 1/4” x 1/4”
Brunoise – 1/8” x 1/8” x 1/8”
Fine Brunoise – 1/6” x 1/6” x 1/6”

Knife Skills – The Cube Cuts!
There’s basically five cuts of cubes.
Let’s take a look at those.
The first one is the Large Dice which is about 3/4” x 3/4” x 3/4”.
Then you’re looking at a Medium Dice and that’s about 1/2” x 1/2”.
Jumping into the Small Dice which is of 1/4” x 1/4” x 1/4”.
But it gets even smaller.
You get down to the Brunoise which is 1/8” x 1/8” x 1/8”.
Or the Fine Brunoise which is 1/6” x 1/6” x 1/6”.
And here they are again.
The Large Dice, Medium Dice, Small Dice, Brunoise and Fine Brunoise.
