When the cutest 3 1/2 year old girl in the world (my granddaughter) requests Ice Cream, specifically Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream, you move mountains (i.e. my lazy butt) to make sure she gets what she wants!

I dusted off the Aroma Ice Cream Maker, assembled the ingredients and showed her how to make Ice Cream from scratch. Those big eyes were lit up with excitement, until the moment I plugged the Ice Cream Maker in and it started grinding through the ice to make our ice cream, then she ran off to find her sister, the excitement was over… Oh well!

The ice cream, of course, was a huge hit when we finished and she did manage to get a significant amount everywhere but in her mouth, but that is part of the fun when you eat ice cream!

You will enjoy this rich and creamy version of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream, with large as you want chunks of frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough to chew on.

Just try to keep it where it belongs!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream

You can either make your own Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (highly recommended) or buy the pre-made refrigerated version at the store. I, once again, used my Aroma Old Fashioned Ice Cream Maker to make mine: Aroma 4-Quart Traditional Ice Cream Maker – Review. I am still very happy with the Aroma's performance after several uses.
